Description
The Choline Inositol formula of Nature's Plus consists of choline and inositol molecules are powerful lipotropic agents contained naturally in foods. Choline is necessary for the creation of nerve impulses carrying the information through the nervous system. Is a constituent of fosfatidocholinis contained in lecithin. Natural sources are liver, yeast, egg yolks and some cereals. It appears to be involved in the metabolism of fats and the production of hormones on the metabolism of fats and cholesterol. Also involved in the proper functioning of the gallbladder and liver. A lack thereof can cause fat accumulation in the liver (fatty liver) and problems in the functioning of the brain and memory. It has been used with beneficial effects against certain diseases of the nervous system such as Parkinson's disease. Inositol is essential for the metabolism of fats and cholesterol in hair growth and in the formation of lecithin. Helps prevent multiple sclerosis and in the removal of fat from the liver (fatty liver). It seems to be important for brain function, heart and eyes. Inositol has been used successfully as a natural sedative and auxiliary natural sleep. Very high doses (6-12g per day) has also been used for depression and manic depression, for severe anxiety and panic, as well as Alzheimer patients, to improve the speech and orientation. It seems to give good results in diabetic neuropathy, akoufizontas from pain and improving the functioning of the nerves. Concomitant administration of vitamin C, which appears to act by retaining the inositol in nerve cells. Deficiency of inositol can lead to atherosclerosis, high cholesterol, hair loss, skin rashes, irritability. Inositol increases the absorption of other B vitamins (especially B-12, B-1, B-2, choline) and vitamin C, phosphorus, and linoleic acid.
