Our digestive system contains billions of bacteria, most of which are harmless. However, you must maintain a favorable balance between beneficial and pathogenic bacteria to maintain a healthy gastrointestinal system.

The Acidophilus Extra 4 of Lamberts, a formulation without the addition of milk, containing 4 billion friendly bacteria per capsule (at the time of manufacture).

While Acidophilus is stable at room temperature to ensure maximum potency, store it in the refrigerator. Also, each package includes a special coating that prevents moisture which is known to contribute to deterioration of the viability of the bacteria.

The bacteria contained in Acidophilus Extra 4 is dried at high temperatures and surrounded by a cover of acid resistant polysaccharide, protecting it from the acidic stomach ph.

INGREDIENTS

 

Each capsule delivers:

 

     Lactobacillus acidophilus La5 4 x109 (4 billion) live bacteria
     and Bifidobacterium Bb12
     10 billion friendly bacteria per capsule (at the time of manufacturer)

 

Ingredients used in the capsule:

Dextrose, Starch, Capsule Shell (Gelatin, Colour: Titanium Dioxide), Cellulose, Sucrose, Magnesium Stearate.

The components of dextrose and sucrose combined weigh less than 1/50 of a teaspoon (less than ½ Calorie)

Disintegration time: Less than 30 minutes.

USE

 

dosage:

2 capsules a day, one morning and one afternoon, with one glass of milk or water, or food.

Do not swallow capsules with hot drinks as heat kills bacteria. Take at least 2 hours after any antibiotic.
